Strategic Coaching

All prospective clients share a preliminary telephone or video call with Silvio Estienne, Paris Home Scouting's Founding Partner. The purpose of this first contact is twofold: the understanding of your specific project for a Paris home and a brief description of how we can help you.​

In the case you decide to hire us, we'll submit a Strategic Advising Agreement for this first 'strategic coaching' phase which goal is a relaxed, although thorough and detailed, discussion with you in order to establish a 'project brief'. We'll also provide you with a 'Search Mandate' project for the second phase of our collaboration. Once we've agreed on the business terms of both documents, and signed the Strategic Advising Agreement, we can plan our strategic coaching sessions, preferably where you currently live. Our founder Silvio is willing to come and visit you in your 'natural habitat'. Like for learning a new language, our philosophy is that immersion in your environment can only achieve the best results for you.

This will typically take two half days for us to gather all the ingredients of your project brief. The first day, we'll go through many items such as your current knowledge of Paris and its neighborhoods, the kind of architecture you like, your personal and family objectives for this new residence, its size - for an apartment or an individual house - and the approximate budget you have in mind, if you are also willing to do improvement work or if you wish a ready-to-use place, etc. The second day will be dedicated to clarifying questions and the drafting of an executive summary for your brief.

When back in Paris, if you confirm your willingness to buy a Paris home, we'll draft a complete brief that will be included in the Search Mandate. This is a legal document which is mandatory under the French Law, called 'Loi Hoguet'. In order to comply with this law, our company has been granted a 'professional card' (operating license) and subscribed a liability insurance for your protection. The execution of the Mandate is the official start of our search on your behalf.
